GORGOROTH Guitarist INFERNUS Says He Has Received Thousand Messages Of Support
October 23, 2007GORGOROTH guitarist Infernus — who is involved in a legal dispute with his estranged bandmates over the rights to the group's name — has issued the following update:
"First of all, I would like to thanx devoted fans from all over the world. I have during the last 36 hours received close to a thousand e-mails and other messages, more or less all of them showing an unconditional understanding, support and respect. I will not be able to answer all of you, but you should know it is apprechiated. Thank you!
"Today, second day with my lawyer Egil Horstad and his team at Vogt & Wiig, there has been made a substantial amount of progress. I will within a couple of days come with a longer statement on the situation and how I plan to deal with it for the future, both when it comes to legal matters and for the continuation of GORGOROTH.
"As I regard it, there is now GORGOROTH, and another fraction with a GORGOROTH name on it. Unfortunately — and as long as that lasts — still somewhat active. To cut through this crap has of course my main priority in the days which follows.
"I am no longer in charge of the former official website of the band, but I will continue updating you through the MySpace accounts of GORGOROTH, Infernus, NOVAE OBSCURITATIS and FORCES OF SATAN."
